Responsibilities:

Idaho Code, Section 33-501, actually gives the Board of Trustees its power to act. It is, therefore, governed by acts of the State Legislature and rules and regulations set forth by the State Board of Education

General Responsibilities of the Board Include:

• Setting or Amending District policies
• Determining the long-range direction of the District
• Acting on recommendations on a variety of matters, from personnel to building maintenance
• Adopting an operating budget for the District and authorizing the spending of budgeted funds
• Employing and evaluating the superintendent
